Propecia, is used to treat Male hair pattern loss and is to be used only by adult men.
Dosage, Take one tablet daily or as directed by your doctor. This drug may be taken with or without meals. This drug must be taken regularly for for three months for the benefits to be noticeable. Once treatment is stopped any hair gain quantity may be lost. If this medication is crushed prior to administration, it must not be handled by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant.
SIDE EFFECTS, Propecia is generally well tolerated, any side effects have generally been mild and have not normally required the treatment to be discontinued but a decreased sex drive, or a decrease in the amount of ejeculation can occur. If you notice any other effects not mentioned , please contact your Doctor or Pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS. Before taking this drug, consult your doctor, especially if you have a history of : Liver disease, Prostrate cancer urinary tract disease, drug allergies.Propecia/ Finasteride should not be used by women or children. This drug can be absorbed through the skin. If the film coating of the tablet has been broken or the tablet crushed, it should not be handled by a woman who is pregnant, or plans to become pregnant. Any contact with Propecia by a developing male fetus could result in abnormalities of the external genitalia .Propecia/Finasteride must not be used during pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, inform your doctor immediately. It is not known if Propecia/ Finasteride is excreted into breast milk, this drug is not indicated for use in women
